Seymour Owner - Occupied Rehabilitation Program
The City of Seymour is once again applying for grant money through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program to help low-income residents with home improvement projects including roofs, HVAC, water heaters, and/or lighting, electrical upgrades and ADA accessibility.
In 2022, we applied for and received $250,000 and helped 23 homes. This year we are applying for $350,000 with a $50,000 match from the Seymour Redevelopment Commission and hope to help even more homes.
A public hearing on this program will be at 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12 in the meeting room at the Seymour Library.
Applications are available at Seymour City Hall or online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2024SeymourOOR
